This is a batch upload for all user data. Customer roles must exist prior to creation.

IsActive

Required

This determines whether the user's account is active or not. The value must be 1 for yes or 0 for no

IsGuest

Required

This determines whether the user is a guest or not. The value must be 1 for yes or 0 for no.

Country

Required

The value must be a 2-character ISO code that represents the user's country i.e. US

CurrencyCode

Required

The value must be a 3-character code that represents the currency format for this user i.e. USD.

OpenAccount

Required

This determine whether this user has an open account. The value must be TRUE or FALSE

CustomerID

Optional

This is a customer ID for internal use. For example, for DemandBridge customers, this field translates to the customer's buyerID. For other ERP systems, it relates to the customer ID required by that system.

EnableCreditCards

Optional

This determines whether this user can checkout using a credit card if a payment gateway is set up for the site. The value must be a 1 for yes or 0 for no.

EnableBudgets

Optional

This determines whether this user can apply a budget/gift card during checkout if budgets are enabled for the site. The value must be a 1 for yes or 0 for no.

EnableDiscounts

Optional

This determines whether this user can apply a discount during checkout if discounts are enabled for the site. The value must be a 1 for yes or 0 for no.

Roles

Optional

Enter any custom customer roles associated with this user. Separate roles with a comma.

Custom_

Optional

For every custom user field previously defined, there will be a column for custom_yourcustomfieldname. The value should correspond to your custom user field name. New custom customer fields cannot be created by adding a column to this spreadsheet.

Important Note on Custom User Fields:

  • For custom user fields with a single checkbox, the value will be TRUE or FALSE
  • For custom user fields with a date/time box, the value will be entered in a mm/dd/yyyy format
  • For custom user fields with selections, the value must match the selection(s) exactly and should be separated by a single comma.
  • For custom user fields with a file or image type, the value will be the directory path you defined followed by a forward slash, the file name and the extension. For example: files/filename.doc or images/picture.jpg
  • For custom user fields with HTML, enter the string of HTML in the field
  • For custom user fields with a URL the value will be the website URL.
  • For custom user fields with a linked record, the value will be the record ID.

If you are listing multiple linked records in this field, they must be pipe | delimited instead of a comma. For example:
