Modify vendors

The vendor management screen allows you to add, edit, and delete vendors.The vendor management screen allows you to add, edit, and delete vendors.

To modify a Vendor's information, add additional locations or assign specific products to the vendor, click the Edit button to the right of the Vendor's name. This will bring up multiple tabs.

This is the name of your Vendor. This is how it will be displayed throughout Liftoff.

Country

The United States is set by Default. Selecting a different country from this list will change what is required for a complete address.

Address

Required

This is the address for the Vendor. Products shipped from this location to the customer determine the shipment rating. It is important to have an accurate address for properly rated shipments. For more on shipment ratings see Shipping. To add additional locations, click the Locations tab. Information on the Locations tab is located below.

Default Fulfillment Instructions

If you have any instructions that need to be sent to the Vendor for the fulfillment process, enter them here. Please note that you can override these default instructions on a product-to-product basis as needed.

Locations

This tab is where you can define multiple locations for a specific Vendor. If your Vendor has more than one fulfillment location, you can add it by simply clicking the + Add Location button. This will bring up a page like the "Add Vendor" section.

This is the address for this specific fulfillment center of the Vendor. If a product is being shipped from this location to the customer, this helps determine the shipment rating. It is important to have an accurate address for properly rated shipments. For more on shipment ratings see Shipping.

If you provide an email address in this field, submitted orders will be emailed to this address. This is an addition to any integration you may have.

Products

This tab is where you can view any products assigned to this vendor. If you need to modify a product, clicking the button will bring you to the modifying product page. For more information on modifying a product, see Modify products.
