To use Payflow as your merchant processor, you'll need to sign up for a Payflow account.. Once you've done that, enabling it in Liftoff is as simple as entering the same credentials you'd use to log on to the Payflow website.
If you need to execute test transactions, consider reviewing this page for information on Sandbox environments with Payflow. See below for more.
You must specify which credit cards your payment account supports. Any cards you select here will be displayed on your website.
Liftoff supports two different types of transactions. You can opt to authorize the credit card when an order is submitted and then capture the funds separately when the order ships or you can opt to authorize and capture funds when the order is submitted.
Authorize vs Authorize & Capture
Some states require that funds be captured for non-custom products only after they ship. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with your local and state laws regarding payment and fulfillment.
When you are checking out on your site in Sandbox mode, you must use specific credit card numbers provided by Payflow. That list can be found here.
Expiration dates used must be valid, and CVV codes must follow particular guidelines. For example, if your address is 675 Hartman Road, the CVV you enter must be at least "667", "668", "669", etc. If your address is 4474 Hartman Road, the CVV you enter must be between "000" and "333".
