Use a theme homepage

Each Liftoff theme includes an optional layout for use as a record driven landing page for your site.

Activate a homepage layout

To activate a homepage layout for your site, first visit the Pages Listing within My LIftoff by navigating to Website, Pages and then locate the page with the value n/a in the URL column of the table. This is the page which customers will land on when visiting your site's base URL (e.g., https://YOUR-SITE-NAME-HERE.liftoff.shop, or the custom domain marked as primary for your site).

Next, click the Edit button associated with that page. You will be navigated to the Edit Page screen for this page.

Finally, locate the Layout field, and select the homepage layout, then click the Save Changes button.

Each Liftoff theme homepage utilizes the default record sets provided with a new site slightly differently. The guides below will help you to identify which record set applies to which area of your selected theme's homepage layout.

A note on record fields for homepages

LIftoff's default record sets are designed to be as flexible as possible. As a result, they may contain fields which your selected theme's layout does not make use of. If you enter a value for a field while editing the record sets, and it the content is not made visible on your homepage, this is likely the reason why.
